Tianrong provides a diverse portfolio of semi-conductive water blocking tapes and semi-conductive bedding tapes engineered for application between the insulated cable core and the outer metal sheath (such as aluminium, lead, steel armour, or copper wire screens) in high-voltage (HV) and extra-high-voltage (EHV) power cables. This layer functions as a mechanical cushion, an electrical bridge, and a radial and longitudinal moisture barrier.

Engineered with a high-resilience compressible structure, Tianrong's solutions deliver a robust mechanical buffer. This protects the insulated core from mechanical damage during armor embossing or welding, while seamlessly absorbing the thermal expansion and contraction cycles of the metal sheath.
